My Choice
I would choose the Xiaomi 14. While the ZTE nubia Red Magic 6 offers a higher refresh rate screen, the Xiaomi 14 excels in virtually every other category that is important to me. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset offers superior performance, the higher resolution and brighter display provides a better viewing experience, and the significantly better camera system, more storage, more ram, and faster charging add up to a much more well-rounded device. I also prefer the smaller, more lightweight design of the Xiaomi 14, making it more suitable for everyday use. The software is much more modern and I prefer having more sensor options.
While the 165Hz refresh rate on the Red Magic 6 is appealing, the practical day to day performance benefit would not be as big as all the other advantages the Xiaomi 14 has. The Xiaomi 14 is also much more portable, and has a camera that will suit all of my needs.
