If I had to choose, I would pick the Asus ROG Phone 8. While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is a very capable phone, the ROG Phone 8 offers a significantly better overall experience for my use case. I value the vastly superior performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the smoother display with the 165Hz refresh rate, and the faster charging.
