My Choice

If I were choosing between these two phones, I would choose the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. While the Redmi Note 10 5G offers good value for the price, and I would prefer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, the Edge 50 Ultra is superior in almost every other way.

The vast difference in performance with the newer chipset and additional RAM would mean a much smoother experience across the board. The display is dramatically better, the camera system is far more versatile and high-quality, the charging speeds are significantly faster, and it has newer software with better connectivity. The larger storage options also mean I would be less likely to need to worry about running out of space. While it costs more, the overall experience would be significantly better, making the premium price worth it for me. The much better performance and more up to date features mean it will also stay relevant for longer.
