My Choice
I would choose the Xiaomi 14.
While the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G provides a decent smartphone experience for basic users, the Xiaomi 14 is superior in almost every way that matters to me. The huge improvement in performance with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 means better overall performance and future-proofing. The vastly superior display, especially with its high brightness, makes using the phone a much more pleasant experience. Additionally, the enhanced camera, especially with the telephoto lens and better low-light capabilities, allows for a wider variety of shooting scenarios and better images. The faster charging is also a significant plus for convenience. While I wouldn’t use the macro lens much, the dedicated depth lens of the A52 5G is something I would miss, however, I value the telephoto lens of the Xiaomi 14 much more. The newer connectivity and better audio of the Xiaomi 14 also adds up to a much better experience.
Given these significant advantages, even if the price is higher, the Xiaomi 14 offers much better value and provides a superior phone for my needs, making it the clear choice.
