My Choice

If I were choosing between these two phones, I would without a doubt pick the OnePlus 12R. While the Samsung Galaxy A04s offers basic functionality at a lower price, the OnePlus 12R is a significantly superior device in almost every aspect. For me the biggest reasons for this decision are the dramatically better display, the vastly superior performance thanks to the snapdragon 8 gen 2 chip, the much more advanced camera system that would allow for more quality and flexibility in photography and videography, and finally the 100W fast charging is a massive time saver in my daily life. Although it has a higher price point, the OnePlus 12R represents a far better overall experience and better value considering it's capabilities. It is simply much more future proof and provides the high performance that I need for day-to-day tasks, media consumption, and of course gaming.
