My Choice
If I were choosing between the Realme 8 and the Realme C53, I would choose the Realme 8. While the Realme C53 offers a larger screen, 90Hz refresh rate, and the latest Android version, the Realme 8's AMOLED display, significantly better performance, and much better camera system and brightness outweigh those benefits for me.
I value a good-quality display for watching videos and a powerful processor for smooth performance and occasional gaming. I also need a smartphone that is usable in bright sunlight. The Realme 8's Hi-Res audio is another bonus as I listen to a lot of music. The overall experience offered by the Realme 8 better fits my needs despite being an older device. While the C53 is newer, the compromises it makes in display quality, performance and camera quality make the Realme 8 the superior choice overall.
