Build Quality

The Realme 8 employs a fairly standard construction for its price point. It isn't foldable, and although the materials are not explicitly stated, the overall feel is consistent with a budget phone. It's lightweight at 177g. The device features a USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG support, but no other accessory connectors are present. The phone is available in Cyber Silver and Cyber Black.

Screen Quality

The device sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 411 ppi. This display technology delivers vibrant colors and deep blacks. The screen also supports HDR10 and achieves a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Software Experience

The Realme 8 ships with Android 11. It's unclear if there is any plan to support a future Android version at this time, since there is no value in os_max_version.

Battery Performance

A 5000 mAh Li-Polymer battery powers the device. It supports 30W fast charging and is non-removable. There are no details about wireless charging.

The phone includes Hi-Res Audio and a cooling system, but lacks notification LEDs and gaming buttons. The device scored 409874 on the AnTuTu v10 benchmark.
