My Choice

Personally, I would choose the Asus ROG Phone 8. While the Oppo Find X3 Pro has a great camera system, my main priorities are performance, display quality, and battery life. The significantly more powerful processor, higher refresh rate, brighter screen, and larger battery of the Asus ROG Phone 8 make it a more compelling option for my use case as I prefer a device that handles heavy workloads and has a great screen for all content with better battery life. The fact that it's the newest device with longer software support is also a huge plus. While I appreciate the extra cameras on the Oppo, the performance and features of the Asus outweigh those benefits. Additionally, I prefer the longer-lasting battery of the ROG phone, as well as the better build quality.
