- Scenario 2: Performance and camera focused: If you want the best performance, a superior display, better image quality and a future-proof device, the Xiaomi 14 is the best option.
- Scenario 3: Hybrid user: If you need a balance of performance, camera and a telephoto lens, the Oppo Find X3 Neo is a good contender at a lower price but the Xiaomi 14 with its stronger telephoto lens is a better all-rounder with the only trade-off being a macro lens.
My Choice
I would choose the Xiaomi 14. While the Oppo Find X3 Neo is a capable phone, the Xiaomi 14's advantages are too significant to ignore. The dramatically superior performance, significantly brighter display with higher resolution, a much better camera system (especially the standard lens), faster charging with wireless capabilities, and modern software make it the clear winner for me, especially given my heavy usage of my phone and the need for a reliable camera. While a macro lens could be nice to have, it's not as high-priority as all the other improvements the Xiaomi 14 offers. The higher price would be justified by the overall better experience and future-proofing.
