Design

The Realme 11 Pro, launched on May 15, 2023, features a sleek design with dimensions of 161.7 mm in height, 73.9 mm in width, and a depth of 8.2 mm. It weighs 183 grams. The device is available in three color options: Astral Black, Sunrise Beige, and Oasis Green. The phone is not foldable. It incorporates a curved display and a punch-hole notch for the front-facing camera.

Display

The phone boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, yielding a pixel density of 394 ppi. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950 nits, enhanced by HDR10+ support. It also features a 10-bit color depth (1B colors), a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 2160 Hz PWM dimming. Additional display features include a 360Hz touch sampling rate, DC dimming, DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and scratch resistance. The display is frameless with dual edges.

Performance

The Realme 11 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 (6 nm) chipset, featuring an Octa-core CPU configuration (2x2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. AnTuTu benchmark scores place the device around 540,800 (v10). It is available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of internal storage depending on the version. The device does not have an SD card slot. The phone includes a cooling system.

Camera

The Realme 11 Pro features a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 100MP Omnivision OVA0B40 sensor (f/1.75 aperture, 0.61µm pixels, 1/1.8" sensor size, 2x2 pixel binning). It is supported by a 2MP macro lens (f/2.4 aperture, 1.75µm pixels, 1/5" sensor size) using a GalaxyCore GC02M1 sensor. It also supports features like digital zoom, autofocus, HDR, panorama, and night mode.

Battery Life

The Realme 11 Pro is equipped with a 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery. It supports 67W fast charging and does not offer wireless charging. The battery is non-removable.

Software

The device ships with Android 13 and is slated to receive updates up to Android 15. It is expected to have Realme UI on top.

USB connectivity is provided through a USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG support.

Other Features

The phone is equipped with various sensors, including a fingerprint sensor (under display), accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass. It offers stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos audio. The phone has a USB Type-C port with USB charging and mass storage. It has NFC. The device does not have a notification LED.

Overall Verdict

The Realme 11 Pro delivers a balanced set of features for the mid-range market. Its strengths include the vibrant 120Hz AMOLED display with HDR10+ support, the capable Dimensity 7050 processor, OIS enabled 100MP main camera and fast charging. The design is sleek. However, the lack of an SD card slot, wireless charging, and a more advanced USB version might be limitations for some users. The device is a solid contender in its price bracket.
