The Oppo Reno8 Pro has a triple rear camera system. The main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor (1/1.56", 1.00µm pixels) with an f/1.8 aperture. It utilizes pixel binning at a 1-4 (2x2) ratio. The ultrawide camera is 5MP with an f/2.2 aperture. The macro lens is a 2MP Omnivision OV02B10 sensor with a f/2.4 aperture, 1/5" sensor size, and 1.75µm pixels. Software Experience

The Oppo Reno8 Pro ships with Android 12, with an upgrade path to Android 14. The software experience is based on Oppo’s ColorOS.

Battery Performance

The device features a 4500mAh Li-Polymer battery. It supports 80W fast charging. Wireless charging is not available. The battery is non-removable.

The device includes an Octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 8100 Max (5 nm) chipset, with a 2.85 GHz max frequency and a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU and also includes 8GB RAM (or 12GB), along with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also has stereo speakers. There is no SD card slot and no 3.5mm jack. The phone offers dual SIM support (Nano SIM) and features USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG functionality. Connectivity includes WiFi 6 (802.11ax) with MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX and LDAC support and a full suite of GPS support. It also has NFC. The phone includes an under-display fingerprint sensor and an array of other sensors including an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and a color spectrum sensor.
