Design

The Oppo A53, launched on August 25, 2020, features a plastic build, measuring 163.9 mm in height, 75.1 mm in width, and 8.4 mm in depth. It weighs 186 grams. The device comes in three color options: Fairy White, Electric Black, and Fancy Blue. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is included for security.

Display

The A53 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 270 ppi. The screen offers a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and visuals. The display lacks HDR support.

Performance

The Oppo A53 offers a large 90Hz display, a large battery, and is positioned as a budget-friendly option. The Snapdragon 460 chipset is suitable for day-to-day tasks. Its primary camera is serviceable, but the resolution is limited, as is the video recording. The device's lack of NFC, absence of display port over USB, and the outdated Bluetooth version are limitations.
