The Huawei P30, launched on March 26, 2019, occupies a competitive space within the medium price range category.

Design

The P30 features a sleek design with a height of 149.1 mm, width of 71.4 mm, and a slim profile of 7.6 mm. It weighs 165 grams, making it relatively light. The phone's construction is solid with a premium feel, available in color options like Black, Aurora, Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal, and Pearl White. The device has a waterdrop notch on the display, and incorporates a fingerprint sensor under the display.

Display

The P30 is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED display, sporting a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 422 ppi. The panel supports HDR10, offering vibrant colors and deep blacks. The display also has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with a 2.5D curved finish. Performance

The P30 is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset built on a 7nm process. The octa-core CPU configuration consists of 2x2.6 GHz Cortex-A76 cores, 2x1.92 GHz Cortex-A76 cores, and 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Graphics are handled by a Mali-G76 MP10 GPU. The device achieved an AnTuTu v10 score of 571116. It comes with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, with no SD card expansion available. Camera

It can record video at up to 4K@30fps with EIS and 720p slow motion video at 960fps. The front-facing camera is a 32MP sensor for selfies, with no listed aperture. Battery Life
