Design

The Honor 70 features a sleek design with a slim profile, measuring 161.4 mm in height, 73.3 mm in width, and 7.9 mm in depth. It weighs 178 grams. The device is constructed with a 2.5D curved glass screen and a dual-edge display, available in colors such as Midnight Black, Emerald Green, Icelandic Frost, and Crystal Silver. It utilizes a USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG support for connectivity. The phone has an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Display

The phone boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1 billion colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ certification. The resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels, yielding a pixel density of 395 ppi. Performance

The Honor 70 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G (SM7325-AE) chipset, built on a 6nm process. The octa-core CPU consists of one 2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 core, three 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 cores, and four 1.9 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 642L GPU clocked at 608MHz. The device comes with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. AnTuTu benchmark scores around 600,525 (v10) indicate solid mid-range performance. The phone also includes a cooling system. It has no gaming buttons.

Camera

The phone features a triple rear camera system. The primary lens is a 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor with a 1/1.49" sensor size, f/1.9 aperture and 1.00µm pixel size. It uses 2x2 pixel binning. The secondary camera is a 50MP wide-angle lens with a 122º field of view and f/2.2 aperture. The third is a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture capable of focusing on objects as close as 2.5 cm. For selfies, it has a 32MP front-facing camera utilizing the Omnivision OV32C sensor (1/3.2" sensor size) with f/2.4 aperture and 0.70µm pixel size with pixel binning.

Video recording capabilities include 4K at 30fps with EIS, and 1080p at 30 and 60 fps with EIS. The camera system also offers slow-motion video capture at 960 fps. Additional features include digital zoom, autofocus, touch focus, continuous shooting, geotagging, panorama, HDR, face detection, various white balance and ISO settings, scene mode, self-timer, RAW output, and night mode. Optical image stabilization (OIS) is not available.

Battery Life

The Honor 70 is equipped with a 4800mAh Li-Polymer battery. It supports 66W fast charging and includes reverse charging capabilities. The battery is non-removable. Wireless charging is not supported.

Software
