My Choice

Personally, I would choose the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T. While the Realme Note 50 offers a newer OS and a smoother screen, the significantly superior performance of the Dimensity 800U chipset, the much better camera system, and faster charging are more important for my personal use case. I would prefer the sharper display offered by the Xiaomi as well. While the modern OS is important, the performance gains and much better camera are more important for me. The better audio on the Xiaomi is also an added bonus. I prefer a better performing phone and I am also more likely to take pictures and videos on the Xiaomi, with the much better camera system being a great addition. The Xiaomi also offers better build quality.
