My Choice
Based on my preferences and priorities, I would choose the OnePlus 9 Pro. While the Redmi Note 9T has a larger battery and better price, the OnePlus 9 Pro offers a substantially superior experience in nearly every other aspect.
The higher resolution, 120Hz refresh rate display, and brighter screen would make daily use much more enjoyable. The Snapdragon 888 chipset and 8GB or 12GB of RAM offers superior performance for multitasking, gaming, and everyday tasks. The more advanced camera system, with its larger main sensor, telephoto and wide-angle lenses would give me more flexibility when taking photos or videos. Additionally, the incredibly fast 65W charging is a major advantage for those of us on the go.
While the battery capacity is smaller, I am willing to trade that for significantly better overall performance and features, and can easily charge during the day. The premium build and extra features like wireless and reverse wireless charging and superior audio, are something I would also benefit from. As a user who values performance, photography, and a premium display experience, the OnePlus 9 Pro fits my needs better, even as an older device. While a more modern phone could be preferable in terms of future software support, the capabilities of the OnePlus 9 Pro are worth the trade-off.
