My Choice
I would choose the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T. While the Nokia G22 has some benefits like the newer Android version, potentially faster charging and a greater storage option, the performance difference between the two phones is massive, the Redmi Note 9T is significantly faster in all aspects. The better display, better camera, better audio and better in box charger of the Redmi Note 9T makes it the superior phone in most aspects and the price to performance ratio is much better. For my daily usage, the raw performance gain and better quality display of the Redmi Note 9T makes it the better option.
