My Choice
If I were to choose between these two phones, I would pick the Motorola Edge 20 Pro. Here’s why:
As a frequent mobile gamer and someone who needs smooth performance for multiple tasks, the vastly superior Snapdragon 870 chipset and the 12 GB of RAM in the Motorola Edge 20 Pro are a clear win. The OLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate is also a major advantage for visual quality.
Although the Xiaomi has a larger battery, the faster charging in the Motorola is also a good option, so I wouldn't mind sacrificing the extra battery capacity for the better performance. Also the camera quality on the Motorola is significantly better so I wouldn't need to worry about low quality photos and videos as I would with the Xiaomi.
While the Xiaomi offers good value for its price, I think that the Motorola Edge 20 Pro provides a significantly better experience in crucial areas and it's worth the extra price. The better display, faster processor, better camera, and faster charging makes this an easy choice for me.
