  • Casual User: If you need basic performance for everyday tasks with a comfortable design, the Redmi Note 10S is more than sufficient.
  • Performance-Oriented User: If you require top-tier speed, smooth gaming, and high-resolution multimedia, the Galaxy S24+ is the clear winner.
  • Photography Enthusiast: If you prioritize camera quality and features, the S24+ is the better choice with its advanced features and better sensors.

My Choice

If I were to choose, I would personally choose the Samsung Galaxy S24+. While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S offers a good value for its price, the significant jump in performance, display quality (higher resolution, refresh rate and much higher brightness), camera versatility (telephoto lens and superior video), superior build quality, and overall user experience of the S24+ make it worth the additional cost. The faster charging, wireless charging, and longer software support also add to the premium feel.

Although the S24+ is heavier, the advantages it brings in daily usage far outweigh the trade-offs. For someone who uses their phone heavily for various tasks, from demanding mobile games to photography, the Galaxy S24+ offers a significantly better experience and longevity. The performance jump would mean a much smoother and more satisfying user experience for years to come. The better screen brightness alone makes this a much more enjoyable phone to use, especially outside on sunny days, which was one of the biggest trade-offs on the Redmi Note 10S.
