My Choice and Explanation:

If I were choosing between these two phones, I would choose the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S.

Here's why:

My personal priorities in a smartphone lean towards the visual experience and performance. The AMOLED display of the Redmi Note 10S is a significant advantage in my daily use. I often watch videos and browse the web and the deeper blacks and more vibrant colors will be much appreciated. The drastically brighter screen is also important for use in sunlight which I have a lot of.

Furthermore, as someone who enjoys mobile gaming, the superior chipset and GPU in the Redmi Note 10S would give a noticeably smoother and more enjoyable experience. The extra wide angle and macro lens are also very important to me as I enjoy taking photos in a lot of different circumstances. I prefer the higher quality video options too.

While the 90Hz refresh rate and Android 13 of the Realme C55 are attractive, the improved visual experience, better performance, and higher quality camera suite of the Redmi Note 10S are higher priority. Additionally, although not a big factor, the fact that it has an additional protective layer makes me confident that it would last me a little longer. Although, I wish it had an expandable storage, the superior characteristics are more compelling.

In conclusion, while the Realme C55 is a solid budget-friendly option, the Redmi Note 10S provides a more premium experience in aspects that matter more to me, making it the more worthwhile choice for my usage patterns.
