Key Questions for Buyers:

  3. How crucial is processing speed? (e.g., multitasking, gaming, app loading)

Scenario-Based Recommendations:

  • If you prioritize the best possible display, performance, and versatile camera: The Redmi Note 10 Pro is the clear choice.
  • If you need a basic, affordable smartphone for basic tasks and require reverse charging: The Redmi 10C is a good option.
  • If you value smoother animations and faster loading, along with higher image quality: The Redmi Note 10 Pro is the ideal choice.
  • If you are on an extreme budget and need basic function, a newer release, and potentially better battery life: The Redmi 10C is more suitable.

My Choice

I would choose the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. The significant improvements in display quality (AMOLED, 120Hz, higher resolution, and brightness), performance (Snapdragon 732G and 6/8 GB of RAM), and camera capabilities (108MP main, wide and macro lenses, 4K video) far outweigh the advantages of the Redmi 10C. While the Redmi 10C has a slightly newer release and reverse charging, these features don't compensate for the overall superior user experience the Note 10 Pro provides.

For my usage which involves a lot of content consumption, some photography, and general multitasking, the Redmi Note 10 Pro's features offer a much smoother and more enjoyable experience than the basic offerings of the Redmi 10C. It makes more sense to spend a bit extra for a greatly enhanced user experience if its within budget.
