My Choice
If I were choosing between these two phones, I would choose the Apple iPhone 16 Pro. While I recognize the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro offers excellent value for its price, my personal priorities lean towards raw performance, camera quality and reliability, especially when taking photographs.
The vastly superior performance of the A18 Pro chipset ensures a smooth and future-proof experience. Additionally, the higher resolution and brighter display of the iPhone 16 Pro are noticeably better and more enjoyable to use. Although the battery life might be a trade off, the wireless charging and overall user experience are well worth the additional cost for my needs. Also, while the Xiaomi has a dedicated wide angle and macro lens, the iPhone's ability to take wide angle and macro shots in a single lens is better suited for my needs.
