My Choice and Why

I would choose the Realme 12+. While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has a few advantages like reverse charging, a depth sensor and Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the Realme 12+ provides a dramatically superior overall experience. The AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness alone is a significant upgrade, providing a much more immersive and enjoyable visual experience.

Additionally, the significantly faster chipset, GPU, faster charging and vastly improved camera system make the Realme 12+ far more capable in everyday use. As someone who values performance and multimedia consumption, the Realme 12+ provides a much more compelling experience. The addition of Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and the newer Bluetooth version are nice bonuses too. While I might miss the depth sensor, the night mode and reverse charging, these are not deal-breakers compared to the vastly superior performance of the Realme 12+. The newer software and the likelihood of more updates is also a strong positive for the Realme.
