My Choice
If I were choosing between these two phones, I would choose the Realme 9 Pro+. Although I appreciate the large battery of the Redmi 9T, the overall user experience offered by the Realme 9 Pro+ is far superior. The significantly faster chipset, AMOLED display, better camera with OIS, and faster charging provide a much more modern and enjoyable experience. The enhanced audio and superior connectivity options are also very appealing. While the battery life is smaller, the 60W fast charging mitigates this drawback to some degree. For my personal use case, which involves a mix of productivity, social media, mobile gaming and photography, the Realme 9 Pro+ would be the better fit. The slightly higher cost would be worth it for the overall improvement in performance and functionality.
