My Choice
If I had to choose between these two phones, I would pick the Google Pixel 7 Pro. While the Redmi 9T offers a larger battery and is significantly more affordable, the Pixel 7 Pro excels in almost every other aspect that I value in a smartphone. The dramatically superior display, processing power, and camera system make it the more appealing option for my needs.
The 120Hz AMOLED screen, combined with the top-tier processing power from the Tensor G2 chipset, would provide a much smoother and enjoyable user experience overall, in particular for media consumption and gaming. The excellent camera capabilities are also a huge factor, offering far greater flexibility in any shooting scenario and superior image quality. The Pixel's software experience is another massive plus, providing the latest Android features and security updates. While the battery may not last quite as long as the Redmi 9T, the faster wired charging and wireless charging options of the Pixel 7 Pro, along with the significant improvements in all other areas, makes the Pixel 7 Pro my preferred choice. It comes at a higher price, but for me the extra price is worth it for the high-quality experience it provides.
