  • Scenario 4: Photographer: If you are looking for the best image quality and telephoto capabilities, the Mix Flip is a better option. However, if you want more variety in the types of lenses, the X3 Pro has more options.

My Choice

If I were choosing between these two phones, I would choose the Xiaomi Mix Flip.

While the Poco X3 Pro is a decent budget option, the Mix Flip represents a massive leap forward in terms of technology and user experience. The foldable design provides a unique and versatile form factor. The significantly improved performance, superior camera system (especially the telephoto lens), much brighter display, faster charging and newer OS make it a much more future-proof and enjoyable phone to use.

Even though the Mix Flip is significantly more expensive and has a slightly smaller battery than the X3 Pro, its advantages far outweigh the drawbacks for my use case. I value the superior performance and camera capabilities as I use my phone extensively for gaming, photography, and other intensive tasks. I also would prioritize having the latest available technology with a phone. Finally, the enhanced connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 is something I would appreciate for future proofing.

While the price difference is substantial, I believe that the Mix Flip offers a much more compelling overall user experience and would be a worthwhile investment for those who can afford it.
