My Choice

If I were choosing between the two, I would go with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. Here's why:

While the Samsung Galaxy A54 is a newer phone with a decent selfie camera and eSIM support, I value the overall performance, display quality, and the main camera much more. The Snapdragon 888 chip is significantly faster than the Exynos 1380. The Mi 11 Pro is better for my usage scenarios which include gaming and media consumption, and the main camera with optical zoom is a major plus for me. While the software is older, the performance and display quality would outweigh the software benefits of the A54. Also, I do not need eSIM capabilities at the moment. While it is not perfect due to it's lack of software updates and macro camera, the overall package for the Mi 11 Pro is better.
