My Choice and Explanation

I would choose the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. While the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is a very capable phone, the key advantages of the Mi 11 Pro tip the scale for me.

  • Superior Display: The higher resolution, pixel density, and significantly higher brightness of the Mi 11 Pro are major factors. I spend a lot of time reading and watching content on my phone, and the Mi 11 Pro’s display provides a significantly better experience.
  • Camera Quality: While the Motorola has a very good camera, the larger sensor and larger pixel size of the Mi 11 Pro is very important to me, as I want to take the best possible pictures in any condition. The additional telephoto lens gives added versatility when taking pictures.
  • GPS & Navigation: The extra location systems on the Mi 11 Pro give an edge for more precise location and navigation in any part of the world.
  • Battery & Wireless Charging: The larger battery and the added convenience of wireless and reverse wireless charging make it much more practical for my needs.
  • Audio: Having Hi-Res audio and an additional microphone is something that I would enjoy.

The additional weight and size are trade-offs I'm willing to make for these benefits. While the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is more compact, the display and camera performance of the Mi 11 Pro make it more suitable for my use cases. The added benefits of the wireless charging and higher audio quality are also very appealing. I am willing to forgo the extra speed in performance and the slightly higher refresh rate for the overall more premium and feature-rich experience offered by the Xiaomi.
