Reasoning:
While the Honor Magic5 Lite is a solid phone in its own right, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro's advantages in critical areas (performance, display, camera) are too significant to overlook, and provide a much better experience.
I value a high-quality display for media consumption and a robust camera system for photography. The much higher performance of the Snapdragon 888, combined with the premium display and superior cameras, ensures a significantly better experience that will remain relevant for much longer. Although the phone is older, its specs mean that it is still much faster than the newer Honor Magic5 Lite. The wireless charging and fast charging are very useful for my daily use case. The trade-off of a slightly heavier phone is acceptable given the overall benefits. The much better build quality also adds to the value of the Xiaomi.
While the Honor Magic5 Lite would be an ok choice for more casual users, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro provides a superior experience in most aspects that are important to me, and I am willing to make the sacrifices to enjoy them.
