Scenario-Based Recommendations:

My Choice
If I were choosing between these two phones, I would pick the Realme GT2 Pro.
Here's why:
While the Samsung Galaxy M12 is a budget-friendly option, it is severely lacking in key areas that are important to my daily usage. As someone who uses a phone heavily for multitasking, gaming, media consumption, and content creation, the performance of the Realme device, coupled with its much better camera and audio system makes it the obvious choice. The Samsung device appears to be unable to match any of the Realme device's strengths in these areas. While the initial cost is much higher, the improvements in usability and long-term value justify the investment. I also expect the Realme device to be relevant for a longer period due to it's much stronger specs which will help ensure that it runs newer apps and software without issue in the long run.
