  • If you prioritize camera versatility and are on a stricter budget: The Samsung Galaxy A52 will be the better option.
  • If you want a very reliable daily driver and want better future proofing: The OnePlus Nord 4 will be the better option.
  • If you want a good mid-range device that has screen protection: The Samsung Galaxy A52 will be the better option.

My Choice:

I would choose the OnePlus Nord 4. While the Samsung Galaxy A52 has its merits with its versatile camera system, the OnePlus Nord 4 offers a far superior experience in terms of performance, display quality, battery life, and future software support. The dramatic difference in AnTuTu benchmark scores, the higher refresh rate, brightness and resolution, larger battery and fast charging, as well as its newer OS make it a much better long-term investment for my use. Even though Samsung has more camera sensors, the better quality of the main and selfie cameras of the OnePlus Nord 4 would be preferable for my photography needs, and the missing macro and depth sensors can be easily compensated for with software and careful framing. Therefore, I would be choosing the phone that would provide a better user experience day-to-day for a variety of use cases.
