My Choice
I would choose the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. While the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G has a larger battery, the overall user experience offered by the OnePlus is superior. The improved display quality with higher resolution, refresh rate and brightness is very important for my usage as I spend a lot of time on my phone. Additionally the faster charging is a practical advantage. The superior camera quality and increased ram/storage options are important as I like taking pictures and want a phone that will last for years. The difference in battery size is not big enough to outweigh all of the other advantages the OnePlus has to offer.
