Personal Choice
If I were choosing between these two phones, I would opt for the Samsung Galaxy A32. While the Xiaomi Redmi A3 offers a newer operating system, a larger display and some improved modern features, my personal priority is a superior display and performance. The AMOLED screen of the A32 provides a much more enjoyable experience for media consumption and daily use, and the better chipset means it will perform smoother in day-to-day tasks. The improved camera system on the A32 is an additional bonus, and while I prefer a side-mounted sensor and the latest version of android I feel that the differences in display and performance are too big to ignore. This is assuming the price isn't drastically different, the performance and display are worth paying extra for, for me at least. If you are on a tight budget the Xiaomi A3 is certainly the better choice.
