Given my usage patterns that include consuming video and audio content, playing video games, and taking a lot of pictures and videos, the Xiaomi 12 would provide a much better experience, while the downsides would be negligible in day-to-day usage. The Samsung Galaxy A12 is a budget phone that is made for a different demographic than myself.
