Scenario-Based Recommendations:

  • Scenario 1: You need a basic phone for calls, texts, and light browsing on a tight budget.

    • Recommendation: Samsung Galaxy A02s - Despite its limitations, it will still get the job done if you are on a tight budget.
  • Scenario 2: You want to play the latest mobile games, capture high quality photos and videos, and require a high performance device.

    • Recommendation: ZTE nubia Z60 Ultra - Its top-tier performance, camera, and display make it ideal for demanding users.
  • Scenario 3: You need a balanced phone with a good display, performance, and camera for daily use.

    • Recommendation: Neither of these phones is ideal for this use case, but you should consider other models, the A02s lacks significantly in performance and display quality while the ZTE is an overkill if not used heavily.

My Choice

If I were to choose between the two, I would choose the ZTE nubia Z60 Ultra, the massive increase in performance, superior camera capabilities and overall experience that it provides makes it much more suited to my needs, even if it comes at a much higher price point. While the Samsung A02s is more affordable, the lack of display quality and processing power makes it much less desirable for general daily use. For me, a phone needs to be fast, have a good camera and a good screen, all of which the Z60 Ultra provides.
