My Choice
If I had to choose between these two phones, I would choose the Realme GT 5G. Despite being an older phone, its superior chipset, display, and charging speed make it the more compelling device for my needs. The significantly higher performance and much sharper display are more important to me than the longer battery life offered by the Moto G23, as I use my phone frequently for gaming, media, and other performance-intensive tasks. The faster charging also mitigates the battery capacity concern somewhat. Additionally, having the better main camera is also beneficial for everyday use. Although the Moto G23 has a more modern out of the box operating system and a side mounted fingerprint sensor, those features are not enough to outweigh the advantages of the GT 5G for my needs. The Realme GT 5G provides a more premium and future-proof experience.
