Here's why:

My primary use case for a smartphone includes heavy multitasking, some gaming, and a good deal of media consumption. The significantly more powerful Snapdragon 870 chipset in the Poco F3 is a clear advantage over the Snapdragon 765G in the Reno5. This translates into a much smoother and more responsive experience when switching between apps, playing graphically intensive games, and doing resource-intensive tasks.

The 120Hz refresh rate and the higher brightness of the Poco F3's display are also significant factors. The smoother scrolling and better visibility in outdoor conditions would significantly enhance the overall user experience.

While the Reno5 offers a more versatile camera system with dedicated macro and wide-angle lenses, the main camera and other features of the Poco F3 are more than sufficient for my needs. In addition, the slow-motion video recording at 960 fps is much better compared to Reno5's 240fps.

While I appreciate the lighter weight and faster charging of the Reno5, the superior performance and display of the Poco F3, along with its much better screen protection, are simply more critical for my needs. The Poco F3 is a better overall package and would provide a smoother and more enjoyable experience in the long term.
