My Choice

If I were choosing between these two phones, I would choose the Oppo Find X3 Pro. While the Xiaomi Poco M5s is a more affordable option with a larger battery and newer OS out of the box, the Oppo provides a significantly better user experience where it counts. The higher quality and smoother display, combined with the much faster processing power, as well as a better camera system that offers more flexibility is worth the premium. The higher refresh rate alone would make the phone feel faster and snappier compared to the Poco M5s. I do take a lot of pictures and videos and having a better camera system with Optical Zoom, OIS and RAW support would be a significant advantage for me. While I do value the macro and depth sensors the Xiaomi has, I think I would find the extra features of the Oppo's cameras to be more useful.
