- Scenario 2: Performance & Unique Design: If top performance and a foldable form factor are crucial, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 is better.
- Scenario 3: Balanced Performance & Features at a Good Price: The Oppo Find X3 Neo will provide very good performance and a large amount of RAM for less money.
- Scenario 4: Top Camera performance: Although both phones can take good pictures, if photos and video are a priority, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 will give better results.
My Choice
If I were choosing between these two phones, I would choose the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. While the Oppo Find X3 Neo is a very good phone, with superior battery life and very fast charging, it doesn't match the cutting edge technology found in the Flip4. I would be willing to pay extra to have a foldable phone with a much faster processor, better screen, and overall better user experience. The Flip4 offers a more modern and refined experience. The unique form factor is a plus, especially for someone who wants something different than the typical slab phone, and the more precise GPS is a very welcomed feature. While the camera on the Oppo is good, and has optical zoom, the DXOMark scores, along with the superior software, result in a better photo taking experience with the Flip4. The only area that I find a significant downgrade in the Samsung would be the fast charging capabilities.
