My Choice
If I were choosing, I would absolutely choose the OnePlus 11. Here's why:
While the Oppo A16 is a very budget friendly option, the OnePlus 11 is far superior in every aspect that is important for my usage. The sheer difference in performance is a game changer. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, combined with the high amount of RAM, would make my daily tasks lightning fast, and allow me to game without issues, which is very important to me.
The AMOLED display on the OnePlus 11 is leagues above the LCD on the Oppo A16. I enjoy consuming content, and the sharper, more vibrant, and smoother screen on the OnePlus 11 would significantly enhance my experience. The massive bump in brightness of the OnePlus is crucial for outdoor visibility.
I also appreciate the vastly improved camera system. I do a lot of casual photography, and the main camera improvements on the OnePlus is much better than the Oppo A16. Having a proper wide angle, a good telephoto camera and very good image processing makes it a great deal more versatile. The option to record high-quality 8K video with stabilization is a huge plus, and I regularly take videos.
While the price is a large difference, and I am losing reverse charging, I believe the overall improvements to my user experience is worth the added cost of the OnePlus 11.
