- Scenario 2: Everyday user with focus on battery life and outdoor use: Choose the Motorola Moto G85.

What I would choose and why:
I would choose the OnePlus 9R.
My reasoning is based on the following:
- Performance: As a frequent user of resource-intensive apps and mobile games, the superior performance of the Snapdragon 870 and Adreno 650 GPU is more important to me than the larger battery of the Motorola G85.
- Camera Versatility: The 4K video recording, dedicated depth and macro lenses, manual focus and better slow-motion capabilities of the OnePlus 9R are essential for capturing higher-quality and more creative shots.
- Fast Charging: The 65W fast charging significantly reduces downtime, which is very important for my busy lifestyle. While the Motorola G85 offers a larger battery, the faster charging of the OnePlus 9R is more convenient for my use case.
- Audio Experience: The additional Bluetooth codecs (APT-x, LDAC, AAC) provide a much better audio experience with my headphones as well as the noise cancelling microphone is useful in meetings or calls in busy environments.
While the Motorola Moto G85 offers a more modern OS out of the box, a brighter screen, a newer main camera, and an e-SIM feature, the performance gap and feature differences in camera and audio are significant enough to make the OnePlus 9R the better choice for my personal use and preference. Although, I acknowledge the Motorola G85 is the better choice for the average consumer that does not require the additional performance or features of the OnePlus 9R.
