My Choice
If I were choosing between these two phones, I would lean towards the OnePlus 9R. Here's why:
While the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) offers a newer OS, a larger battery, a slightly better main sensor and a newer bluetooth version, I value overall performance and display quality more. The Snapdragon 870 in the OnePlus 9R is significantly more powerful and will provide a much better overall experience in everyday use. Additionally, the AMOLED display is a considerable advantage, providing a much more enjoyable visual experience. The significantly faster charging also appeals to my use case. The OnePlus 9R's more versatile camera set-up offers more options, although the main camera on the Moto G may perform better in some cases. The additional RAM on the OnePlus 9R is also a significant factor. I can justify the trade off in a slightly lower battery as the faster charging on the OnePlus 9R means it will not be plugged in for as long.
While the Motorola is the newer device and has a larger battery and main camera sensor, the performance and display in the OnePlus 9R are a greater priority for my personal preferences.
