Here's why:
While the OnePlus 9 boasts a stronger processor and higher video resolution capabilities, the practical advantages of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion align more with my typical usage. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion's brighter screen, significantly better battery life, and newer software are more appealing in the long run.
The difference in the camera is not significant for me, and the OIS in the Motorola is more useful in everyday use compared to the 8k video on the OnePlus 9. The better performance of the OnePlus 9 is not enough to justify the tradeoffs in other areas. Additionally, for my travel needs, the dual sim and eSIM are incredibly convenient, giving the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion a clear advantage for me. The lighter design and superior connectivity are also big pluses that are useful for my everyday use case.
