My Choice
If I were to choose, I would pick the OnePlus 9 Pro. While the Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro has a newer OS, larger battery, amoled display, and is slightly lighter, the differences end there. The OnePlus 9 Pro excels in nearly all of the most important aspects of a smartphone: a significantly better display (resolution and brightness), the most important factor for daily usage, much more powerful performance (CPU & GPU), and a significantly more versatile camera. These advantages outweigh the advantages of the Poco X5 Pro in my usage scenario, making it a more compelling choice. Furthermore, its wireless charging, reverse charging and more advanced audio capabilities, as well as a more premium build quality, all contribute to a better overall experience, making it the phone I would go for.
