The Snapdragon 865 is still a very capable chipset, and the much faster charging is a significant convenience. In addition, the brightness is a huge differentiating factor that I would much prefer over the Galaxy A54, since I'm constantly outside and need to be able to see my screen. Even though it's an older phone, the OnePlus 8T still offers a very smooth and responsive experience, and the faster performance makes it a better choice for my needs.
