  3. What is your budget?

Scenario-Based Recommendations:

  • If you want the best possible performance and a much better camera and you are okay with compromising battery life: Choose the Nokia X20.
  • If you prioritize longer battery life, slightly smoother scrolling and a lower price point, but don't need the best performance or camera: Choose the Xiaomi Redmi A3.
  • If you are on a tight budget and need an android experience: The Xiaomi Redmi A3 is a better choice.
  • If you need a phone for gaming, or other demanding applications: Choose the Nokia X20.

Personal Choice

I would choose the Nokia X20. While the Redmi A3 has a larger battery and smoother display, the performance difference is just too big of a trade off. The Nokia X20's much faster processor and better camera system would make a big difference to me in my day to day usage, and I would gladly sacrifice a bit of battery life for that. The Nokia X20 is simply a more capable phone all around. The only exception would be if I were on a very strict budget, in that case the Redmi A3 would be acceptable, though it would come with notable compromises.
