My Choice:
I would choose the Samsung Galaxy M53.
Reasons:
While the G30 is an affordable option, the M53 offers a vastly superior user experience in almost every way that matters to me. The jump in display quality from an LCD to AMOLED, the significantly improved performance from the Dimensity 900 chipset and the increased RAM, the higher resolution cameras, better video recording capabilities with 4K resolution and digital image stabilization, the addition of stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, are all massive upgrades over the G30. While the M53 doesn't include a charger in the box which is annoying, and it has a slightly less wide main camera aperture, the overall package is much better suited for my use cases, which include watching media, some gaming and taking photos. The M53 gives a far more premium feeling, and the difference in performance will be very noticeable, it is easily worth the extra cost.
