My Choice
If I were choosing between these two phones, I would pick the Oppo Find X5. Here's why:
While the Motorola Moto G30 is a decent budget phone, the Oppo Find X5 offers a substantially better overall experience in almost every area. The difference in display quality is night and day, with the Find X5's AMOLED screen being significantly sharper, brighter, and more vibrant. As someone who uses their phone for a lot of media consumption, this alone is a huge selling point. The performance difference is also massive; the Snapdragon 888 in the Find X5 will make the phone much more responsive for gaming and general use, which are also important to me. The significantly faster charging would also be a major quality of life improvement.
The camera differences are significant too. While the Moto G30 offers a more versatile lens setup on paper, the Find X5 likely wins out in image quality due to the larger sensors, better processing and OIS.
While I appreciate the slightly larger battery of the Moto G30, the difference is likely negligible and the convenience of faster charging and better performance of the Find X5 outweigh this benefit. The price is much higher, but I believe the significant increase in overall experience justifies the additional cost for my personal use case, which prioritizes quality over frugality in my daily driver.
