Personal Choice

If I had to choose between these two phones, I would choose the Oppo Find X5 Pro. While the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a solid ecosystem and better selfie camera capabilities, the Oppo offers more compelling advantages in my typical use case: longer battery life, faster charging, higher refresh rate and resolution screen. Also, the Oppo has more ram, and a fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the Oppo's significantly faster charging and its larger battery would also be beneficial for me. The more modern connectivity options and sensor suite also are a plus. Finally, even though the iPhone has slightly better DxOMark scores for mobile camera, the Oppo camera has a higher resolution and bigger sensor size, and the addition of the macro lens is also a plus.
