My Choice
If I had to choose between the two, I would choose the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max. While the Motorola Moto G22 has some advantages such as a larger battery, fingerprint sensor, and much lower price, the areas in which the iPhone excels are more important to me.
As a user who appreciates smooth performance, a vibrant display, and great camera capabilities, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is the clear winner. The A14 Bionic chip offers significantly better performance for multitasking and resource intensive tasks, and the OLED display with high resolution and brightness provides an excellent viewing experience, especially for watching videos, browsing high-quality pictures, or doing creative tasks. Additionally, the camera system on the iPhone 12 Pro Max is superior to the Moto G22, with optical zoom and OIS greatly enhancing the quality of both photos and videos. The build quality of the phone is also much more premium. Although the battery is smaller, the performance of the phone and its ecosystem integrations is more important for my needs.
While the price is a significant factor, the overall value the iPhone 12 Pro Max provides in terms of performance, display, camera, and user experience justifies the higher cost for my use case.
